Job summary

An international agriculture organization in Malaysia is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to enhance market presence for their products. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, along with at least 5 years of sales experience in agriculture or related fields. Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel are essential. Attractive working conditions and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Good connections with dealers, distributors, plantations, and major customers.

Responsibilities

  • Visit estates and farms for promotions and technical extension services.
  • Conduct trials with products for future registration requirements.
  • Convince estates and farmers to accept our products.
  • Improve market demand for our products.
  • Organize and join promotional events as needed.
  • Fully cover North Johor and coordinate with colleagues for South Johor.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor’s in Agriculture / Biology / Chemistry or similar.

At least 5 years of relevant sales experience in agriculture / fertilizers / crop protection.

Good connections with dealers / distributors / plantations / major customers.

Proven track record of hitting sales targets.

Strong technical understanding of agricultural products and practices.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.

Willingness to travel and work independently.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Required to visit estates and farms to do promotions and technical extension services apart from serving present and new dealers.

To conduct trials with present and new products for future registration requirements if the need arises.

To convince and induce estates and farmers to reach acceptance of our products.

To improve market demand of our products.

Required to organize and join promotional events when requested.

Required to fully cover North Johor, and assist / coordinate with a colleague to cover South Johor.

Candidate must be self driven and disciplined to create their action plan and act on it.

Maybe required to work in other states as and when the need arises.
