Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Technical Principal Consultant for AVEVA Unified Engineering in a hybrid role across Malaysia and Singapore. You will lead hands-on implementation, configuration, and integration of UE in complex plant environments, driving cross-discipline data models, templates, and workflows.

You will script and customize using PML, C#, .NET, and REST APIs, collaborate with customer teams, and deliver workshops, training, and post-deployment support globally.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with AVEVA Unified Engineering or similar integrated engineering platforms.
• Proficiency in engineering data modeling and multi-discipline integration (process, piping, electrical, instrumentation).
• Hands-on experience with AVEVA Engineering, P&ID, E3D, or comparable tools.
• Strong programming/scripting skills (PML, C#, .NET, SQL, REST APIs).
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments (Windows Server, databases, cloud platforms).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
• Willingness to travel for project delivery and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation of AVEVA Unified Engineering solutions for EPCs and Owner Operators.
• Configure and customize UE modules to align with customer-specific engineering workflows.
• Integrate UE with other AVEVA tools (e.g., ERM, AIM-A, Worktasks) and third-party systems via APIs.
• Develop scripts and extensions using PML, C#, .NET, or other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with customer teams to define data models, templates, and workflows.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including RDDs, configuration guides, and training materials.
• Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for end users and administrators.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and post-deployment support.
• Consult with global AVEVA development and support teams to resolve complex issues and contribute to product improvements.
