RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing and maintaining network and data centre infrastructure with a minimum system availability of 99.96%.
  • Ensuring all network, data centre, and security systems meet required SLAs by tracking maintenance renewals, certifications, and asset inventories (including licenses).
  • Managing and supervising external vendors to deliver 24x7 operational support, ensuring SLA compliance and providing onsite oversight at remote data centres when required.
  • Executing implementations, patches, upgrades, and change releases, as well as participating in business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DRP) exercises.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for installation, configuration, administration, and operations of all network, data centre, and security systems.
  • Providing 24x7 operational support, including participation in on-call rotation.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) in networking, data centre, and security technologies; conducting feasibility studies and evaluating new technologies to support business initiatives.
  • Performing security assessments, identifying risks, and recommending mitigation measures for infrastructure and project initiatives.
  • Leading and managing network and security projects and overseeing complex infrastructure changes independently.
  • Developing, reviewing, and maintaining IT policies, processes, and procedures to uphold network, data centre, and security standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in network and data centre administration (Cisco Routers, Switches, ACI).
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and network security (Checkpoint, ASA, F5).
  • Experience with DNS, Proxy, Cisco ISE, RSA, and network management tools (e.g. MRTG, ELK).
  • Solid understanding of WAN, structured cabling, and data centre physical architecture.
  • At least 2 years’ experience managing vendors and handling RFQ or project management.
  • Good communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Possess technical network certification: CCNA or CCNP certification
Preferred
  • Advanced certifications (CCIE, CDCP, CISSP, CEH).
  • Experience with security event monitoring, DDOS mitigation, and identity/access management.
  • Exposure to trading or mission-critical environments.
