Responsibilities

• Development of PLC & SCADA system designs.
• PLC control system programming and SCADA configuration from approved designs.
• Accountable for systems lifecycle, from design through programming to testing, installation and configuration, and documentation (FDS, FAT, SAT procedures).
• Installation and commissioning work at customer sites.
• Willingness to travel and work away when required.

Technical Skills

• Programming languages: Function Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Text (ST), Sequential Function Charts (SFC), Ladder Diagram, C, C++, SQL Integration.
• Communication protocols: Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, OPC UA.
• Experience with PLC vendors: Allen Bradley, Schneider, Siemens Simatic S7.
