1. Solutions Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Work closely with business users to gather, understand, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Analyze gaps between current systems/processes and desired outcomes.
2. Solution Design & System Specifications
- Define system workflows, data flows, UI/UX expectations, and technical constraints.
- Participate in system architecture and design decisions.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to design feasible solutions.
3. Stakeholder Communication
- Facilitate communication between business users, project managers, and technical teams.
- Conduct workshops, presentations, and requirement review meetings.
- Ensure all parties understand the project scope and system changes.
4. Project Coordination
- Collaborate with software developers, testers, and other stakeholders throughout the system development life cycle (SDLC).
- Provide input during planning and estimation of IT projects.
5. Testing & Quality Assurance
- Assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, and perform system testing.
- Ensure developed solutions meet business needs and comply with standards.
6. Documentation
- Establish clear and comprehensive documentation of system specifications, process flows, and user guides.
- Update system manuals and training materials when changes occur.
7. Support & Maintenance
- Resume system content expert for troubleshooting system issues.
- Analyse and resolve system bugs or enhancement requests.
8. Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes.
- Recommend technology solutions to enhance business performance.
- Support in house digital transformation initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Manufacturing IT experienced related field. Prefer at least 5 years working experience in the relevant field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in requirements gathering, documentation, and business process analysis.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with system modeling tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).
- Good understanding of databases, APIs, and system integration concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
