Overview

This job is for a Senior System Analyst handling card authorization and fraud. You’ll work with cutting-edge Mainframe tech, collaborate with stakeholders, and help enhance systems that protect financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead system analysis, design, and enhancements for Cardlink authorization and fraud modules.
• Develop and maintain applications using Mainframe Cobol, CICS, Easytrieve, and JCL on Mainframe z/OS.
• Work with VSAM and sequential datasets for data storage and processing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform impact analysis, and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Partner with QA teams to support testing phases and defect resolution.
• Investigate and resolve production issues related to authorization and fraud functionalities.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and audit standards in solution design.
• Liaise with vendors and IT teams to ensure timely delivery of system changes.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 6-9 years in a similar role (L3).
• Domain: Cards, with focus on mainframe-based authorization and fraud modules.
• Technical skills: Mainframe Cobol, CICS, Easytrieve, JCL on z/OS; experience with VSAM and sequential datasets.
