Job summary

A logistics and supply chain company in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Operator responsible for overseeing the fiscal movement of raw materials and finished goods. The role involves adhering to safety and quality standards, managing supplier deliveries, and ensuring warehouse efficiency. Responsibilities

• Maintain fiscal movement of raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Assist in maintaining accuracy of raw materials.
• Operate warehouse in accordance with 5S principles.
• Manage inbound and outbound stock using FIFO.
• Carry out forklift maintenance.
• Ensure manpower arrangements for warehouse personnel.
• Supply raw materials to production at the right time and quantity.
• Handle all company materials carefully to avoid damage.
• Drive forklift safely and report any issues immediately.
• Manage supplier delivery process in adherence to SOP.
• Use shutter door according to company policies.
• Ensure no materials are left outside the store overnight.
• Participate in stock verification and reconciliation.
• Comply with all company regulations for safety and quality.
• Implement continuous improvement measures for efficiency and quality.
• Perform all related duties as assigned.

Job description

• To maintain fiscal movement (loading & unloading) of raw materials, WIP and finished goods;
• To assist Storekeepers and Supply Chain Executives in maintaining the accuracy of raw materials;
• To ensure the warehouse is operated in accordance with 5S;
• To ensure that all inbound and outbound stock is maintained in accordance with the principles of FIFO;
• To carry out forklift maintenance;
• To inform Storekeepers about plans related to incoming and outgoing materials;
• To ensure that manpower arrangements are made for all warehouse personnel on a weekly basis, in accordance with Company SOPs, and in consultation with the Senior Manager for Supply Chain & IT, ensuring that work assignments are communicated and carried out, ensuring 0 delays to the inbound and outbound schedules;
• To ensure the supply of raw materials that reach the Production area at the right time, location and the right quantity;
• To handle company materials (products, pallets, raw materials and all other goods) carefully so that no material damage occurs;
• To drive the forklift safely and carefully to avoid any accidents from happening. Report any damage or accident involving the forklift immediately to the manager. Maintain the forklift and carry out the necessary maintenance to ensure the forklift is in a condition that complies with the Company's standards;
• To manage the supplier delivery process with 100% adherence to the Company's SOP, including but not limited to, the verification of goods delivered against the DO, the DSS process, and the issuance of GRNs.
• To use the 'shutter' door in accordance with all company policies, and to ensure that the shutter door is not left open so that there is no risk of contamination to the Product and Finished Goods;
• To ensure that no raw materials, products or finished goods are left outside the store area throughout the night;
• To ensure that all Store procedures and SOPs are followed and that all company policies and standards are always followed;
• To be involved in stock verification and reconciliation of stock take data on a monthly basis, including on weekends as necessary based on the stock reconciliation calendar;
• To comply with all company policies, procedures and regulations and take necessary precautions to ensure product safety and quality are not compromised in carrying out all your duties and responsibilities;
• To analyse processes and implementing measures that will result in continuous improvement to product efficiency and quality, in line with our Quality & Company Food Safety Policy and Manufacturing Philosophy; and
• To perform all related duties as necessary or as assigned by your Executive and Manager.
