Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Senior/Staff SW Development Engineer in Malaysia to join our team and modernize software for FPGA flows and HW-SW co-design tools.

You will apply deep C/C++ expertise, drive architecture improvements, and help shape robust, scalable software while mentoring engineers and contributing to a culture that embraces GenAI-augmented workflows in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Deep C/C++ Expertise: Strong foundation in C/C++ with the ability to navigate, debug, and modernize large, complex codebases into Modern C++.
• Systems Architecture & Code Quality: Proven experience in refactoring legacy systems, improving performance, modularity, memory footprint, and maintainability.
• Engineering Best Practices: Track record of driving robust automated testing, CI/CD, static analysis, and code quality standards.
• Technical Leadership: Ability to mentor engineers, guide design decisions, and solve tough debugging/performance bottlenecks.
• Valuable domains: FPGA tools or EDA software development, embedded systems, device programming, or HW-SW modeling.
• GenAI-augmented workflows in development lifecycle.
