You have a passion for technology and innovation to shape the future of power electronics - listen up! We are looking for a technology development engineer who will be driving innovations from the concept definition till the volume production. As a technology process route development expert, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams from technical marketing to production.

  • Develop wafer technology and wafer technology/product features to realize power devices addressing the application needs while meeting performance, cost, and quality targets.
  • Drive experiments from the process split definition to the realization in the clean room, analyze available in-line metrology and electrical test data.
  • Ensure process stability, quality of the manufacturing route for the mass-production release.
  • Actively contribute to the project team while reporting on development progress and risk mitigation actions to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Support and be in a technical leading role for product portfolio extension (internal/subcon).
  • Interact with teams of different time zones incl. remote technology development tasks.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university degree (Master, PhD) in Physics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Material Sciences.
  • Minimum 6+ years of working experience in FE related Semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in the field of semiconductor device technology development (Clean room experience, Design of Experiments, statistical process control, process control monitor design/layout, wafer-level reliability test and electrical characterization, failure analysis techniques, basic understanding of TCAD simulations, IP generation…).
  • Readiness for international assignments (short/long term).
  • Semiconductor physics & process integration knowledge.
  • The ability to communicate efficiently in English written and spoken. Chinese language beneficial.
