Job summary

Brunel is recruiting an experienced SPS Materials & Welding Engineering Specialist for a flagship offshore deepwater oil development. You will be the focal point for Materials, Welding and NDE activities across the Subsea Production System package.

Lead SPS materials, welding & NDE during project execution, review docs, manage welding qualifications, NDE requirements, and support tendering and supplier management while ensuring QA/QC and compliance with international standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree or Master’s Degree.
• 15+ years offshore Oil & Gas experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading SPS Materials, Welding & NDE activities throughout project execution.
• Reviewing and approving engineering, fabrication and testing documentation.
• Managing welding qualifications, material selection and NDE requirements.
• Supporting tendering, supplier evaluation and contractor management.
• Coordinating QA/QC, risk assessments and technical audits.
• Ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.
• Supporting fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
