A respected energy association is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts across key Asia Pacific markets. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in sponsorship and event sales, ideally in leadership roles. This position requires strategic thinking, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to lead a team. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of Bahasa Malay or Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years experience in sponsorship, exhibition, or event sales.
  • More than 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malay or Mandarin is a plus.

  • Lead a team of 2-3 sales staff
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction
  • Represent the APAC region in global strategy discussions
About you
  • 8-10 years experience in sponsorship, exhibition, or event sales (with more than 3 years in leadership)
  • Strong client relationship and business development experience
  • A consultative and solution-oriented sales style
  • Exceptional project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malay or Mandarin will be a plus
