Job summary

A leading surfacing materials company seeks an experienced sales professional to promote products to architects and designers in Johor Bahru. The ideal candidate will manage client relationships, provide technical advice, and analyze market trends. This role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills. Job description

Promote Greenlam products to architects, interior designers, and contractors, ensuring inclusion in architectural plans and design projects while providing technical information, samples, and product literature.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key specifiers and industry influencers through product presentations, CPD sessions, industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Provide technical advice on product application and installation, addressing queries promptly and collaborating with the technical team to develop and update documentation.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, gathering client feedback to identify market needs and providing insights to sales and marketing teams.

Maintain records of client interactions, project specifications, and sales leads while preparing regular reports to track and analyse specification success rates and market trends.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or specification roles, preferably in construction, interior design, or surfacing materials.

Solid knowledge of surface materials, finishes, and applications.

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence clients.

Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.

Experienced candidates may be considered for a managerial role.
