About The Job

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the global procurement strategy within Media & Marketing categories to maximize the benefits of strategic sourcing under the lead of the Global Category Manager and in close cooperation the respective demand owners.

Your Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Media Category Management
  • Under the lead of the Global Category Manager, develop and regularly update the Media category strategy and underlying policies for the assigned in accordance with the Corporate Procurement policies and vision and in the best interest of Swarovski.
  • Drive cost and value optimization by identifying savings potentials supported by market insights, operating model assessment, by leading commercial negotiations, managing partners’ performance & contract compliance and commitment.
  • Review and optimize Swarovski MarTech set-up
  • Design & implement the global sourcing initiatives roadmap and execute the defined source to contract process.
  • Implement AI approach in Media & MarTech
  • Conducting regular business reviews to ensure accountability, delivery against targets and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and manage sourcing risks and report them to the Global Category
  • Reduce maverick spend and identify possibilities to improve the ordering process.
  • Support supplier relationship management regarding qualification and development of the suppliers to ensure existence of an adequate supplier base in the procurement systems.
Sourcing Management
  • Be the Primary point of contact between the business/stakeholder and suppliers, supporting procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender and auction management, supplier management, savings validation
  • Negotiate, conclude and maintain global contracts with a significant economic impact.
  • Ensure that all practices meet applicable legal requirements as well as relevant internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and expert functions in clarifying requirements.
  • Implement the source to contract processes for all goods and services for the involved business partners and provide feedback to improve these processes
About You

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

  • University degree/Education
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in sourcing on Media category (Digital & Offline, Media, eCommerce, MarTech, etc)
  • Knowledge of other marketing categories (Content Production, Translation, Data & Insights, Creative, PR & Events, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent business understanding and stakeholder management
  • Excellent procurement expertise (regional and global markets, purchasing guidelines, support legal documentation, claim management, risk management, procurement methods, market know-how in the various categories)
  • Strong sourcing experience and negotiations skills
  • Excellent communicator able to demonstrate very effective communication with senior management
  • Advanced SAP/ARIBA Knowledge (understanding End to End process flow)
  • S2C process knowledge
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge
  • Team orientation, and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Innovative and creative approach whenever possible and can-do attitude
