Job Summary

As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test plans to ensure software quality. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify bugs, improve performance, and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.
• Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, system, and performance testing as needed.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning to provide QA input.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and standards to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Assist in root cause analysis and provide recommendations for defect prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and QA best practices.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
