Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Software Process Assurance Engineer to ensure compliance with software development processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements across the software lifecycle. The role collaborates with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Verification teams to uphold DO-178C compliance.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years of experience in software process assurance, quality engineering, or software engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Software Process Assurance, Software Engineering, or Quality Engineering.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance principles and quality management systems.
• Experience with regulatory standards or framework, e.g. DO-178C, CMMI, AS9100, ISO 9001.
• Experience with requirements management and issue tracking tools such as IBM DOORS Next, Jira, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Git, SVN, or other version control systems.
• Exposure in audits as an auditee, and auditor is highly valuable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Conduct software lifecycle reviews, process assurance activities, and quality audits
• Monitor quality metrics, track issues, and ensure effective corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement across software development and quality processes
