Grab, Southeast Asia's leading superapp, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Scribe or CDP teams in Kuala Lumpur. You will work across Python, Go, and Scala, building and improving clickstream pipelines, data onboarding, and real-time data processing in a high-scale environment.

You will influence architecture, collaborate with regional teams, and contribute to reliable, low-latency systems while communicating effectively in English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Scala.
• Experience building large-scale backend or data systems.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and OLTP databases.
• Strong English communication in regional/global environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve clickstream data pipelines from ingestion to insight delivery.
• Build scalable platform capabilities for user data onboarding, online serving, and real-time data pipelines/architecture.
