Job summary

Razorpay Curlec in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer who is product-minded and quality-focused to help scale our payment infrastructure for Malaysia and beyond.

You will influence engineering culture, contribute to REST APIs, open source, and collaborate with a 3000+ strong team across Razorpay's global platform. This full-time role is based in our Kuala Lumpur office on weekdays.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in technology.
• Strong backend programming skills with at least one major language (PHP/Python/Java/C++).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Be involved and drive product & design discussions.
• Help us scale our payment infrastructure to get every Malaysian to pay online.
• Help us make decisions to shape our REST APIs for developers worldwide.
• Contribute to open source as we set the standards for mobile payments.
• Be involved and drive product & design discussions.
• Brainstorm and create new directions for Razorpay Curlec in Malaysia.
• Improve system reliability through monitoring, alerting, logging, and automated recovery.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
