Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Executive Recruiters is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the Authorization System in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will deliver requirements within authorized components, ensure code quality, meet timelines, and collaborate with a distributed team.

The role requires strong C/C++ fundamentals, Linux/Unix experience, and excellent English communication. You should be proactive, capable of working independently, and willing to travel for projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, MIS).
• At least 4 years of professional IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ fundamentals (pointers, data structures, runtime libraries).
• Hands-on Unix/Linux development experience, including Perl scripting and makefiles.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for projects when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver requirements within authorized components with quality and on time.
• Adhere to company coding standards, policies, and methodologies.
• Evaluate impact of authorization requirements on related components and systems.
• Perform unit testing and peer code reviews to ensure deliverable quality.
• Support QA, UAT, system integration, regression and performance testing.
• Deliver client training as needed.
• Guide and support team members remote and in-office.
• Occasional after-hours work may be required.
• Oversee planning, monitoring, and quality as a Project Lead.
