Act as the local and global Application Owner (AO) for assigned Material Handling Automation (MHA) applications.
Job Description
In your new role, you will:
- Serve as the technical lead for the local team, providing software technical expert consultancy to the Factory Integration (FI) team.
- Actively participate in the DevOps & Agile process for the MHA solutions.
- Act as the local and global Application Owner (AO) for assigned Material Handling Automation (MHA) applications.
- Represent the local site as a software technical advisor on MHA topics, collaborating closely with the global team in Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions.
- Lead and guide smaller project teams to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
- Translate user requirements into tailored MHA software solutions.
- Gather user requirements for new requests or enhancements of MHA solutions, and oversee implementation, testing, and rollout to production.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing across local and global teams to foster continuous improvement.
- Implement new features into existing applications and develop innovative automation software solutions, adhering to approved technologies and Infineon’s FI architectural guidelines.
- Conduct Automation Capability Management testing and engage in technical negotiations with equipment vendors.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer/Software Engineering, or a related Engineering field (such as Electrical, Electronic, Microelectronics, or Semiconductor Technology).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management experience with expertise in application development within Manufacturing IT systems.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor automation, including material handling, Material Control Systems (MCS), material identification, and storage systems, is advantageous.
- Experience in factory automation solution design, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and systems is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of semiconductor equipment integration, with familiarity with SEMI Standards, is advantageous.
- A proactive mindset for supporting production environments, with a commitment to a zero-defect approach.
- Solid understanding of existing automation solutions and their applications.
