Overview

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop and maintain critical system application within our manufacturing environment. The candidate will bridge the gap between complex shop floor operations and modern software solutions, working with team from across different site locations to drive digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop and Implement scalable web application using Node Js and React Framework
• Work with DBA team on maintaining smooth operation of system databases ( Oracle / Postgres )
• Collaborate with cross functional teams across different sites for projects
• Maintain and modernize legacy systems while transitioning towards containerized and cloud environments
• Provide remote support during off-office hours on urgent manufacturing system issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / or related engineering field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT or system development
• Experience working within Manufacturing Shop Floor environment ( understanding MES, Automation and Production Workflow )
• Strong track record of working with distributed teams across different sites

Technical Skill Set

• Proficiency in Node Js and React Framework
• Strong expertise in Oracle database / Postgres database and writing complex SQL queries
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker container and Google cloud environment
• Understanding legacy programming languages ( C, C#, ASP ) will be added advantages ( for system migration )
