Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development using .Net technologies (.Net Framework/.Net) and SQL‑based relational database (e.g., MS SQL).

Experience working in Agile/SCRUM development environment.

Solid understanding of software/system design and architecture principles and best practices.

Priority will be given to candidates willing to relocate within commuting distance of Kuching, Sarawak.

Responsibilities

• Development, customization, enhancement, extension, testing, and maintenance of classic, database‑driven, web‑based applications.
• Ensure user‑friendly UI/UX according to modern standards.
• Support with data migration from classic databases to modern databases.
• Collaborate with client support, product owners and other developers to deliver solutions.
• Apply modern development tools and methodologies to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Evaluate and recommend future‑proof technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Ensure code quality, version control, performance, documentation, and security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with document‑oriented databases (e.g., MongoDB) and data migration.
• Experience with SAP SQL Anywhere or other SAP technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience in unit testing and test automation.
• Experience with C# or other equivalent Object‑Oriented programming language.
