Job summary

A software development company is seeking a Software Engineer in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Responsibilities include producing software design, coding, and debugging following project requirements. Candidates must have strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server, and must speak Mandarin to liaise with clients. A minimum of 3 years' experience is required.

Qualifications

Job description

Work closely with other software engineers to produce software design, reports, and diagrams after understanding project requirements.

Write code based on the approved software design while adhering to our architecture, techniques, and coding standards.

Improve, troubleshoot, debug, and refactor source code as deemed necessary.

Write unit/integration tests to ensure the system passes quality control checks.

Write/update technical documentation for completed work.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge in ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server.

Knowledge in Reporting tools such as DevExpress Reporting and Stimulsoft Reporting is a bonus.

Intermediate understanding of SQL Server relational database in areas such as ERD, indexing, table hints, query hints, isolation level, and locking (table, row, shared, exclusive).

Strong critical thinking in debugging, solving business problems, and preventing performance issues.

Experience working with ASP.NET Zero boilerplate framework is a plus.

Knowledge in Human Resources Management Software would be an added advantage.

Mandarin speaking is a must to liaise effectively with clients and team members.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the above job requirements.
