Job summary

Continental is seeking a Senior Security Operations Specialist to join our Cyber Defense Center. You will lead investigations, drive detection and response improvements, and act as a senior escalation point for the SOC team across global environments.

You will use CrowdStrike Falcon, Defender, SIEM, and cloud telemetry to analyze threats, perform root-cause analyses, and guide containment and recovery efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or related cybersecurity role.
• Proven experience managing complex cyber incidents in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and NIST/ISO security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, validate, and respond to complex security incidents escalated by SOC teams and IT.
• Lead investigations of advanced security incidents using CrowdStrike, Defender, SIEM, and EDR/XDR.
• Analyze alerts and threat intel to identify attack patterns and attacker behavior.
• Perform root cause analysis to determine scope and impact and provide recommendations.
• Lead containment, eradication, and recovery during major incidents.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting based on intelligence and hypotheses.
• Coordinate with Incident Response, Infra, Cloud, Identity, and Business teams during incidents.
• Produce incident reports, executive summaries, and lessons learned.
