Job summary

BOVEM in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on video editor and channel manager to own end-to-end short-form content. You will edit 25–30 finished videos monthly for TikTok, Reels, Shorts and Shop, sourcing from UGC and assets, while crafting hooks and captions in BOVEM's voice.

You will also recruit creators, manage the TikTok Shop Affiliate Centre, test campaigns, and scale winning formats, with a focus on paid and cross-platform growth. Based in Malaysia, you’ll work during local business hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years producing short-form social video, in-house or agency-side.
• Portfolio of TikToks / Reels you edited with real view/engagement data.
• Hands-on TikTok Shop Affiliate Centre experience — recruited creators, managed samples and commissions.
• Fluency in CapCut and at least one of Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Figma or Canva Pro for statics.
• Your own editing machine, fast internet, and workspace you can work from.
• Based in Malaysia, available during Malaysian business hours.
• Strongly preferred: men's grooming, personal care, beauty or consumer electronics; Meta/TikTok Ads Manager; Motion graphics / After Effects.

Responsibilities

• Edit 25–30 finished short-form videos per month for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok Shop.
• Cut from raw UGC, creator submissions, product footage and existing asset library.
• Build hook-first: own the first 1.5 seconds, control retention pacing, pattern interrupts, on-screen text, captions, sound design and trending audio.
• Produce multiple hook variants per concept for testing.
• Create supporting statics: carousels, story frames, marketplace banners for Shopee / Lazada / TikTok Shop.
• Repurpose winners across platforms and into paid formats (9:16, 1:1, 4:5).
• Own the content calendar across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook (SG + MY); schedule, publish and write captions in BOVEM's voice.
• Respond to comments and DMs within 24 hours; elevate genuine customer service issues.
• Recruit creators through TikTok Shop Affiliate Centre; set and manage commission tiers; negotiate with high performers.
• Launch and manage Meta and TikTok campaigns; run creative testing cadence with clear kill and scale rules.
