Primary Function

The primary function of the role is to provide on-site service solutions to deck equipment and life‑saving appliances.

Responsibilities

• Provide service solutions to deck equipment and lifesaving appliances, including commissioning, inspection, maintenance, spare‑part repair, refurbishment, upgrades, hook replacement, etc.
• Familiarise with local shipyards and port procedures.
• Generate service reports after each job with relevant details and accuracy.
• Submit claims, overtime and overseas allowances.
• Report comments and feedback from customers to Service Coordinators or Service Manager.
• Attend training and keep technical skills and product knowledge up to date.
• Ensure validity of relevant certifications for service jobs and renew expired certificates.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant technical/engineering certificate.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally with offshore exposure.
• Willingness to travel on short notice and go offshore.
• Basic computer and MS Office skills.
• Strong command of English.
