Job description

Installation & Commissioning: Install, configure, and commission VFD systems at customer sites; integrate with PLC/DCS and other automation systems; ensure compliance with wiring, grounding, and safety standards.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve VFD hardware, software, and communication issues; conduct preventive maintenance and performance checks; provide root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote support to customers; collaborate with engineering teams on complex issues; assist with warranty claims, service reports, and technical documentation.

Serve as the first point of contact for field service inquiries.

Train customer staff on safe operation and maintenance of VFD systems.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Key Requirements

Have 4 – 8 years of related working experience, hands‑on experience with VFDs and motor control systems is an advantage.

Hands‑on experience with LV and/or MV drives from major manufacturers is a plus.

Solid understanding of motor technologies, including induction, synchronous, and permanent magnet (PM) motors.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams, and control drawings.

Proficient in using test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers.

Knowledge of PLC/DCS integration is a plus.

Customer‑focused with the ability to perform under pressure in field environments.

Flexible and willing to travel frequently, locally and internationally.
