Job summary

Nodeworthy is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own and improve security across cloud, DevOps, SRE, and backend systems. You will investigate incidents, deploy fixes, and drive production security outcomes in a hands-on role.

Ideal candidates will have strong DevOps and infrastructure security experience, with backend coding capabilities and a focus on secure CI/CD and SRE practices. Collaboration with product and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of hands-on DevOps, cloud infra and production systems.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, especially Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of networking, IAM and secrets management.
• Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Proven incident-response capabilities from detection to remediation.
• Ability to navigate large codebases and production environments independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain security monitoring, logging and alerting across infra and apps.
• Secure GCP environments, IAM, Kubernetes, networking, compute and storage.
• Lead incident containment, root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines and software-supply-chain safeguards.
• Review APIs, authentication and backend security; collaborate with DevOps.
• Define security requirements in design and architecture.
