Job summary

Evonik Malaysia is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer to design and implement scalable solutions on SAP S/4HANA. You will work with CDS views, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 to deliver modern enterprise applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and help shape a sustainable, upgrade-ready landscape. The role emphasizes Clean Core practices and integration via SAP BTP, with a hybrid working environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in object-oriented ABAP and modern SAP development.
Strong knowledge of CDS views, OData, and Fiori/UI5.
Solid understanding of S/4HANA Extensibility and Clean Core concepts.
Hands-on experience with SAP BTP for integration and extension.
Fluent in English, with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable SAP solutions using ABAP, CDS views, and Fiori applications.
Develop and enhance business processes on SAP S/4HANA with Clean Core principles.
Integrate SAP solutions via BTP and S/4HANA Extensibility to enable innovation.
Collaborate across teams to translate requirements into robust designs.
Lead technical projects and mentor junior developers, ensuring coding standards.
Stay current with SAP technologies and cloud offerings to support digital transformation.
Define architectural guidelines and reusable components for SAP extensions.
Participate in workshops and stakeholder meetings to shape technical solutions.
