A leading FMCG company in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Sales Executive to drive and implement effective sales strategies. You will build strong relationships with distributors and retail partners while managing and growing existing client accounts. The role involves negotiating contracts and coordinating with various teams to ensure product availability. Candidates should have a Diploma in Business Administration and 3-5 years of experience managing major accounts in the FMCG sector, with strong communication skills and a pleasant personality.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Identify and build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
Lead field visits to monitor market performance, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Manage and grow existing client accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade terms with partners and clients.
Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability and successful campaign execution.
Mentor and guide junior sales team members to enhance performance and efficiency.
Monitor sales KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and market practices.
Applicants are required to possess, at minimum, a Diploma in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification, preferably with a focus on sales or retail management.
At least 3-5 years of working experience in managing major account/ customer from FMCG industry (Modern Trade & and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in modern trade, petrol kiosk and CVS operations and category development is an advantage.
Pleasant personality with good communication skills.
Must be able to travel interstate to meet customers.
