Qualifications

Summary

STERIS is seeking a results-oriented Senior Sales Executive to manage and grow our Endoscopy Reprocessing (Capital and Consumables) and Procedural GI product portfolio across Malaysia. This role involves strategic planning, product evaluation, marketing, and implementation of both new and existing solutions. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying needs, and delivering value-driven solutions. Additional responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting. You will have a strong background in healthcare sales and a passion for driving innovation in clinical environments.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
  • Sales and/or marketing experience in Malaysia’s medical industry; preferably in a medium to large company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in medical, science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the endoscopy industry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with fast-moving medical consumables and/or medical devices is an added advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead sales and/or marketing initiatives with measurable results.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • Hands-on experience with medical equipment, including clinical demonstrations of devices and accessories on patients.
  • Solid background in sales, product management, and project management.
  • Highly customer-oriented and results-driven with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in developing training programs and coordinating physician or customer events is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in other Malaysian languages is an advantage.
