A leading construction product company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales & Business Development professional to promote steel stiffeners to developers and contractors. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of sales experience and a BSc in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, or Architecture. Proficiency in English and Mandarin/Hokkien is preferred. The role offers an annual salary of MYR 60,000 to MYR 70,000, with additional benefits including a variable bonus scheme and travel allowance.
Sales & Business Development, promote and sell steel stiffeners to developers, contractors and sub-contractors.
Identify and develop new customer accounts and business opportunities across Northern Region – Penang, Perak & Kedah Malaysia.
Support project sales by engaging with engineering consultants and project owners to include products in project specifications.
Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and sales proposals.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular client visits to understand project requirements and provide technical and commercial support.
Resolve client issues promptly in coordination with internal departments.
Gather and analyze market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and construction trends.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
Track and manage project opportunities through CRM or sales tracking systems.
Qualifications and Education RequirementsQualified with BSc (Eng) Civil/Mechanical Engineering &/or BSc (Hons) Marketing/ / BSc (Archi)
Salary PackageRemuneration ranging from MYR 60,000 to MYR 70,000 annually
Petrol & Toll by receipt claim
Variable bonus scheme subject to personal and company performance.
Preferred Skills3–5 years of experience in sales or business development within construction products.
Strong understanding of construction project sales and the building materials supply chain.

Goal-oriented, proactive, and willing to travel frequently within Northern Region Malaysia.
