A leading manufacturing company in Penang is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to identify new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and achieve sales targets. We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, and results-oriented Senior Sales Executive to join our team at ATC Surface Finishing. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets in line with the company’s strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of the sales process, and the confidence to engage with potential customers to promote our industry-leading metal surface treatment solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
Conduct effective client meetings and presentations to understand requirements and demonstrate the value of our services.
Prepare and deliver compelling product and service proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification to negotiation, closing, and after-sales service.
Maintain and grow long-term customer relationships through regular follow-up, problem resolution, and excellent service delivery.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., operations, technical, finance) to ensure customer satisfaction and successful service execution.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the company.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, client interactions, and sales performance using reporting tools.
Attend industry exhibitions, conferences, or networking events to promote brand visibility and generate leads.
Gather and share customer feedback, market intelligence, and product improvement suggestions with internal departments.
Uphold and enforce company standards in terms of quality, service excellence, and ethical practices.
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum at least 3 years of sales experience in manufacturing, engineering services, or industrial B2B sectors
Experience in metal finishing/aerospace/semiconductor industry preferred will be an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills — verbal and written (English and Bahasa Malaysia required; Mandarin is an advantage).
Self-driven with a high level of initiative, professionalism, and a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and networking events.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalents.
