Job Summary

Kumo™ is currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as a Senior/Sales Executive. As a Senior/Sales Executive, your primary role will involve evaluating potential clients, actively engaging with them, and effectively promoting our Kumo™ product based on their industry‑specific needs. This position will provide you with valuable opportunities to interact with business owners and C‑level executives of single or multi‑chain establishments throughout Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emphasize on canvassing, cold calling or other lead generation capabilities to engage with clients and demo our Kumo product based on their industry‑specific requirements.
  • Meet sales targets and propose innovative methods for generating leads to expand the customer base.
  • Utilize presentations to showcase product features, prepare business proposals and contracts in adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in company exhibition events both locally and internationally to enhance brand visibility, generate potential business leads, and foster positive exposure.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, and provide factual data to support sales strategy proposals.
  • Assist in ad‑hoc duties as and when required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • You possess a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent.
  • You have at least 2 years sales experience, preferably in IT/software sales.
  • You are highly self‑motivated with a genuine drive to achieve/exceed sales target and expectations, with great problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • You have good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
  • You have good presentation and writing skills in addition to ideally having technical knowledge.
  • You possess own transport and willing to travel as and when required based on business requirements.

ISMS Committee Responsibilities
  • High level review on Information Security Incidents and decision on remedial action.
  • Established relevant policy, procedure and guideline to ISMS implementation.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the established information security policies, standards and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain Information Security policies and ISMS policies.
  • Recommend specialized Information Security advice or services where appropriate (e.g. engaging consultants to test the effectiveness of security policies, investigate alleged security breaches, or conduct an independent review of information systems).
  • Perform continual risk assessment and risk treatment plan base and established methodology.
  • Updating of information asset inventory register.
  • Ensure that adequate security training is provided to various end‑users and security awareness programs are conducted regularly.
  • Identifying the classification level of information assets.
  • Understanding the ISMS Manual and your additional responsibilities if you’re appointed the positions (Document Controller / Incident Manager / ISMS Secretariat).
