Job summary

A leading equipment supplier in HVAC is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in Petaling Jaya. The role involves meeting sales budgets, preparing proposals, and managing client relationships. Candidates should have a degree in engineering and over 3 years of experience in selling industrial equipment, preferably in the HVAC industry. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Competitive remuneration of RM 4,000 to RM 6,000.

Qualifications

  • More than 3 years experience in selling Industrial Equipment & machinery.
  • Preferably from HVAC Industry with experience in M & E interactions.
  • Dynamic and energetic with a positive working attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Meet the sales budgets set by the management.
  • Prepare proposals and follow up with prospective customers.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and prospects.

About the Company

Our client is the leader in dehumidification. They started in USA and have been established in Malaysia since 1990. Opening will based in Klang Valley.

They are a global solution provider for dehumidifiers, gas phase filtration, plastics drying, dry rooms, high temperature waste heat recovery and Air to Air energy recover systems for Green Buildings, with subsidiaries in China, Malaysia, Brazil, Nigeria and Switzerland, and associate plant in the USA.

Job Responsibilities

  • Meet the sales budgets as set by the management
  • Prepare proposals and follow up with prospective customers
  • Prepare action plans to grow and expand the market
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
  • Identify new opportunity and sales prospects and follow-up
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate sales contracts
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • To gather market information & competitor activities
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic / Industrial Engineering
  • More than 3 years experience in selling Industrial Equipment & machinery
  • Preferably from HVAC Industry and experience in interacting with M & E Consultants, Contractors and End Users
  • Dynamic, energetic, result-oriented with positive working attitude
  • Should be fluent in English and possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Must have own transport

Remuneration

RM 4,000 to RM 6,000
