Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Senior Sales Engineer to lead customer engagements, craft tailored solutions, and support project execution. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with rotating machinery and vibration monitoring systems, and be confident in managing industrial networking protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue sales opportunities in key industries.

Manage end-to-end sales process including presentation, proposal, negotiation, and closing.

Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, system integrators, and EPCs.

Develop a strong relationship with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including Engineers, Managers, Operation, or technical people etc.

Support marketing activities including exhibitions, seminars, and product demos.

Achieve sales targets and provide regular reporting and forecasts. (Weekly Sales Plan, CRM sales pipeline, sales strategic plans etc).

Assist in performing analytical functions and provide information concerning the latest technological application in the industry and company's competitors.

Any other duties as may be assigned by immediate superior/manager.

Technical Responsibilities:

Handle customer technical inquiries, including site assessments and system recommendations.

Prepare and present technical proposals, BOQs, and system architecture.

Collaborate with engineering teams locally and in Japan for solution design and customization.

Support project implementation, commissioning, and basic troubleshooting.

Assist clients with system integration into platforms such as SCADA, PI System, or cloud.

Perform basic network setup, MODBUS configuration, and connectivity testing.

Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with vibration monitoring systems or rotating machinery is a strong advantage.

Strong knowledge of MODBUS, TCP/IP networking, and industrial communication protocols.

Familiar with remote monitoring systems, data acquisition, and PLC/DCS integration.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Basic understanding of SQL Server or equivalent databases for data integration.

Able to work with simple diagrams/layouts (Visio or AutoCAD is a plus).

Preferred Certifications/Criteria

Good and strong existing connection in Oil & Gas Industry, Power Generation, Energy, Manufacturing especially on End User EPCC, Consultants and fabricators.

ISO 18436-2 Vibration Analysis CertificationCategory Level 1 or higher is a plus.

Any certification in industrial automation, control systems, or instrumentation is a plus.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Electronic & Electrical / Control & Instrumentation / Mechatronic / Mechanical / Oil & Gas Petroleum/ Process Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales, applications, or system integration.

Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Japanese or Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Willingness to travel locally and regionally.

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Basic Salary: RM6,000++/month + Fixed and Variable Allowance
