Job summary

A leading elevator company is seeking a qualified candidate in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role involves seeking new modernization leads, conducting surveys, negotiating proposals, and managing project execution. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in the elevator industry and a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential for communication with clients and suppliers. This position requires regular on-site visits and adherence to safety requirements.

Job description

1) Actively seek for new Modernization and Total Replacement leads and inquiry.

2) Conduct on site surveys/ site measurements.

3) Negotiation with factory and supplier to obtain best pricing for proposal submission.

4) Prepare tender/ proposal submission, obtain costing approval up to Top Management.

5) Order equipment from factory, arrange for equipment delivery.

6) Assist in Modernization project execution, ensure installation works carried out on timely manner.

7) Handover units on timely manner.

8) Ensure JKKP inspection is carried out accordingly for modernization lifts requiring new JKKP inspection.

9) Ensure billing and collection is done on timely manner.

10) Ensure customer complaints were resolve promptly.

11) Provide support and services to existing and new clients, to maintain and/or establish new business relationships and contacts, planning design influence and future sales.

Requirements:

At least 5 years’ experience in elevator industry.

Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

Excellent computer skills in MS Words, Excel and Power Point.

Good knowledge in sales lift installation.

Fluency in Mandarin and English to communicate with Mandarin speaking customers, suppliers, and factory teams.

Willingness to conduct frequent on site visits, including surveys and project coordination at construction sites.

Able to work effectively in industrial and site based environments while adhering to safety requirements.
