Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex monthly financial results, identifying key financial issues, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders for necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with business leaders to review weekly and monthly trends (e.g., labor, overhead, discretionary spending) and update quarterly forecasts and budgets, offering strategic feedback.
- Synthesize financial and trend data, and prepare presentations for management to highlight findings.
- Advise leadership on the financial implications of proposed process changes and provide recommendations.
- Evaluate system capabilities and process efficiencies, and suggest enhancements or upgrades to improve performance.
- Prepare and process month‑end journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and update product standard costs in the ERP system; generate reports for trend analysis.
- Prepare annual tax filings and address inquiries from tax consultants and auditors during the statutory filing process.
- Support compliance activities such as SOX, internal controls, fixed asset audits, and physical inventory checks.
- Analyze ROI for project expenditures, identify operational impacts, and recommend improvements for better financial outcomes.
Qualifications
- A strong educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of RTR processes and financial reporting.
- Excellent command of Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
- At least 5 years of previous related cost accounting experience.
- Experience working in a subsidiary area within an international company, preferably in the US.
