Role Overview
The Report Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying reports for a stock trading system. This role involves working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Analysis:
- Collaborate with business teams to gather and validate reporting requirements.
- Understand data source mapping and transformation logic.
- Report Development:
- Design and implement ~100 reports using agreed tools and frameworks.
- Ensure reports meet documented business requirements and comply with BANK’S standards.
- Testing & UAT Support:
- Prepare test cases and validate reports during UAT.
- Address defects and implement fixes promptly.
- Deployment & Documentation:
- Execute production deployment following BANK’S change management processes.
- Maintain rollback plans and deployment documentation.
- Collaboration:
- Work with Bank’s teams for access to systems and environments.
- Provide regular updates and utilization reports as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in report development for financial or trading systems.
- Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, data transformation, and ETL concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with stock trading workflows and financial data structures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during UAT and production deployment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice‑to‑Have
- Experience in credit pool model projects or time‑based service engagements.
- Knowledge of Banks technical environment and compliance standards.
- 3‑7 years of relevant experience in IT support.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Proactive and self‑driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized with a strong focus on following prescribed processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3‑7 years of experience in IT development, preferably in banking or financial services with a minimum of 3 years of report development experience.
- Leadership experience managing a team of minimum 6 members.
- Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams.

Shift Timing
Note : 8 hours shift will be subjected to change to 12 hours shift (eg. work 3 days and rest 4 days and vice versa)
Need to support releases including nights during weekends and public holidays.
