Role Overview
This role requires a knowledgeable and experienced business professional to work with a highly experienced team that is constantly driving an increase in HID Global’s image and sales opportunities within the Top 100 enterprises in selected industries per region.
Responsibilities
- Expand HID footprint to emerging regions where end‑user touch has not yet been executed.
- Create coherent and consistent project acquisitions where HID Global will act as the trusted advisor to both end‑user and influencer communities.
- Build pull‑through sales value for HID Global’s products and services, focusing on the Global Business Area of Physical Access Control Solutions and its strategic growth initiatives.
- Scope and define growth verticals and solution requirements for the region.
- Serve as the voice of HID in front of C‑level people, senior managers, and decision makers, effectively conveying relevant messages.
- Manage a team and drive key end‑user sales and project opportunities.
- Develop and execute channel and end‑user business strategies for the region.
- Build long‑term relationships through direct and indirect touchpoints.
- Advise on and schedule the deployment of key end‑user programs to address individual needs.
- Collaborate with internal vertical business development, consultant business teams, and technical resources to communicate future technology transitions.
- Provide educational and awareness briefings to reinforce HID Global’s role as a trusted advisor.
- Use innovative marketing tools to nurture relationships and orchestrate key end‑user seminars.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and represent regional status and requirements to the broader Physical Access Control Solutions organization.
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly status reports using SFDC.
- Partner with vertical marketing to develop end‑user focused tools such as whitepapers, brochures, web presence, and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree—preferably in engineering.
- MBA or equivalent in marketing or business.
- Minimum 18+ years’ experience driving new business in access control or a cloud‑based platform and services organization.
- Extensive network of end customers in the territory and strong channel management capabilities.
- Formal experience with vertical knowledge and physical access control solution expertise is a plus.
- Deep experience in SaaS, applications, and software services with understanding of key partner business drivers and ecosystem.
- Analytical, data‑driven approach to decision making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations.
- Capacity to establish credibility with sales force and customers.
- Strong leadership skills with cultural sensitivity and experience influencing diverse teams.
- Critical and creative thinking skills and teamwork orientation.
Language Skills
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, and international technical standards.
- Additional local language(s) used in Sales East Asia is a great advantage.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiar with Windows operating systems.
- Experience with CRM tools and analysis such as Salesforce.com.
