Job summary

Uvation, Inc. is seeking a frontend developer to build reliable, responsive user interfaces from approved designs and API contracts. You will deliver features independently, diagnose browser issues and contribute maintainable, well-tested code.

The role focuses on React and Next.js, with 4 to 6 years of experience. You will collaborate with design systems, implement accessible UI, and ensure high-quality code through testing and reviews.

Qualifications

• Proficient in React, Next.js, TypeScript and hooks-based development.
• Solid understanding of component lifecycles, effects and memoisation to prevent re-renders.
• Experience with Next.js, Vite or similar modern front-end build tools.
• Strong state management with Zustand/Redux Toolkit and selectors.
• Excellent HTML5, CSS3/SCSS with responsive layouts and semantic markup.
• Knowledge of accessibility fundamentals including keyboard navigation and ARIA usage.
• Experience with design systems such as IBM Carbon or Material UI.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect UI.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling various data states.
• Experience with polling and cleanup to handle incomplete API responses.
• Familiar with front-end tooling: environment config, packaging, and builds.
• Experience writing unit and component tests with Vitest or Jest and RTL.
