MTAI Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.

You will play a key role in managing project costs, contracts, and commercial matters while supporting successful delivery of construction projects. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, 3–5 years’ experience, knowledge of PAM/JKR/CIDB/FIDIC, and strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction or building projects.
• Good knowledge of PAM, JKR, CIDB, and FIDIC contracts.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and contract documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in structured organizations and process improvement initiatives will be an added advantage.
• Membership with BQSM/RISM will be an added advantages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, tender documents, and project cost analysis.
• Conduct quantity take-offs based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Evaluate tenders, variation orders (VO), progress claims, subcontractor claims, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and implement cost control measures throughout project execution.
• Assist in contract administration, contractual correspondence, and project documentation.
• Manage variation orders (VO), claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) assessments.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients on commercial and contractual matters.
• Attend project meetings and support overall project commercial management.
• Establish and improve commercial processes, contract administration workflows, and cost control SOPs to support business growth and operational efficiency.
