Job summary

China Railway Oversea Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to support our commercial and project teams on high-rise and mixed-development projects.

You will handle progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts, administer contracts, perform takeoffs and cost estimates, and coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants. Strong English is required; Chinese is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of measurement, costing and contract basics.
• Cubicost (Glodon) is a MUST.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
• English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to communicate with diverse clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Contract documentation, correspondence, and compliance management.
• Quantity takeoff, cost estimation, and tender preparation.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Maintain records, filing, and commercial documentation.
• Site verification and measurement when required.
• Excellent written communication in English; Chinese skills are an advantage.
