Requirement


  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Architecture or equivalent.

  • Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS Word.

  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Applicants must be willing to work in Puchong.

  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Quantity Surveying in interior and IT-out projects for luxury retail brand outlets, hospitality industry or equivalent.

  • Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients or Sub-Contractors.


Responsibility


  • Assisting PM for project budgeting and cost control.

  • Compiling all relevant project cost to meet budget.

  • Materials sourcing and procurement (PO issuing).

  • VO compilation and costing @ clients (to coordinate with contract team).

  • VO compilation and costing @ subcons/vendors (to update with contract team).

  • Project closing with P&L compilation (on project budget related only).

  • Vetting and verifying subcon’s claims.

  • Receive all tender notice/invitation to quote and all enquiries related to cost/quotations.

  • Inform accounts department to issue cheque for tender deposit.

  • Inform accounts department if tender fails. Accounts department will follow up with the Architect/Client on the return of the tender deposit cheque.

  • Inform administrative executive to arrange dispatch to collect tender documents.

  • Prepare tender bid and all quotations.

  • Follow up with Client/Architect/Designer after submission of tender/quotation.

  • If tender is successful, to pass all project information to project department for follow up.

  • Prepare contact list and material procurement list.

  • Prepare variation orders, progress claims, sub-contractor payments, final account etc.

  • To source for and meet potential new suppliers or subcontractors.

  • Obtain & evaluate quotations, negotiations with sub-contractors & suppliers.

  • Liaise with site personnel, vendors, consultants and/or subcontractors for all project matters.
