A leading quantity surveying consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation and budget preparation for construction projects. Responsibilities include preparing tenders, analyzing project costs, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, 4-10 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in cost estimating software. This role emphasizes strong analytical and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to delivering projects within budget and standards.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for cost estimating, budgeting, preparing tenders, contract administration and cost control of construction projects. You will be required to gather and analyze data relating to project costs, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of all cost-related information. You will be expected to work closely with the project team and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered within budget and to the required standard.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience
4-10 years of experience in a similar role or related field is required
Preference is given to those with Consultant QSrelated experience
Software Experience would be preferred :AutoCAD / Glodon Cubicost TAS, TRB / CostX

Familiarity with cost estimating software such as Glodon is an advantage
