Job description

1. Participate in new model development projects and represent the Quality function in cross-functional teams.

2. Review product specifications, drawings, and WI to ensure compliance with quality and reliability requirements.

3. Develop quality plans for new models.

4. Support prototypes build validation and pre-launch quality gate reviews and ensure proper documentation.

In-House Quality (Production)

1. Monitor in-process quality performance and implement corrective actions.

2. Manage quality inspectors and ensure adherence to inspection standards.

3. Maintain control plans, sampling plans, and SOPs.

4. Conduct internal audits (process audits, product audits) and ensure closure of NCRs.

Aftermarket & Field Quality

1. Track aftermarket product performance, warranty claims, and customer complaints.

2. Investigate field failures and perform root cause analysis (8D, fishbone, 5-Why).

3. Coordinate with Service, R&D, and Production teams on corrective and preventive actions.

4. Support recall/market campaigns if necessary.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT

1. Strong knowledge of quality management systems: ISO 9001

2. Proficiency in core quality tools: FMEA, PDCA, SPC, APQP, 8D, RCA.

3. Understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.

4. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

5. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving mindset, and leadership capability.

6. Good at writing reports, presenting findings, and coaching team members.
