Job summary

A leading QA service provider in Johor, Malaysia is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead QA/QC operations. You will ensure targets are met, supervise QA leaders and inspectors, and be responsible for the organization’s Quality Management System. The successful candidate will have a degree in Engineering, over 5 years of experience in quality assurance, and strong analytical skills. Fluency in Mandarin is required, alongside proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems.
• Fluent in Mandarin; proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.

Lead QA/QC operations and ensure tasks and targets are achieved on time.

Supervise a team of QA leaders and inspectors to ensure inspection and testing systems operate effectively to achieve departmental OKRs.

Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS).

Monitor product and process quality performance; follow up and drive resolution of quality issues and customer complaints until closure.

Establish, implement, and maintain proper procedures, work instructions, and records for all quality-related activities.

Control non-conforming products and ensure only quality-approved products are delivered to customers.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead corrective and preventive action initiatives.

Conduct periodic internal quality audits and ensure compliance with standards.

Manage customer audits and qualification processes, ensuring findings and actions are properly addressed and closed.

Ensure adherence to Safety, 5S, Company Policies, and Environmental Regulations.

What we're looking for

Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field

5 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

Proven expertise in developing and implementing quality management systems and techniques

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Proficient in data analysis, process improvement, and project management

Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control methodologies
