Job description
Senior Quality Department Manager / QA Manager

Lead the Quality Department and act as QMR / Deputy QMR.

Drive implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of QMS (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, IATF16949, RBA, ESD S20.20).

Establish and enforce quality policies, SOPs, quality plans, company objectives and targets.

Ensure Company policies & quality objectives align with business direction.

Maintain documentation control, change management and record control.

Ensure availability of resources to sustain and improve the management system.

Promote awareness of customer, regulatory and product safety requirements (UL, RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals).

Audit, Compliance & Certification

Plan, lead and follow up on internal, customer, and 3rd‑party audits (1st, 2nd, 3rd party).

Coordinate management review preparation, quality data compilation and timely meeting execution.

Maintain company certifications and ensure regulatory compliance.

Prepare documentation for audits and external assessments.

Approve risk assessments for the Quality Division.

Quality Performance & Improvement

Monitor quality KPIs and QMS performance; report improvement opportunities to top management.

Lead CAPA, 8D, root cause analysis, DMAIC, and continual improvement activities.

Conduct risk assessments and drive improvement initiatives.

Ensure customer satisfaction with overall quality performance.

Department Management

Oversee QA/QC operations and ensure smooth departmental performance.

Lead and manage teams in QA, QC, HQA, QAE (Calibration), CVE, and Quality System functions.

Manage staff training, competency development, performance evaluation and task delegation.

Plan, implement and monitor QMS programs with required resources.

Prepare and review budgets for the department.

Manage calibration programs (ISO 9001 required; ISO 17025 advantage).

Lead customer feedback handling, customer satisfaction tracking and quality communication.

Product, Process & System Control

Review and approve quality records (CoC, batch records, test reports).

Approve release or on‑hold decisions for production lots.

Participate in NPQ (New Product Qualification) and system implementations.

Perform system, process, and product audits per standards.

Manage RoHS, REACH, Conflict Mineral and Product Safety compliance.

Other

Establish motivation/recognition programs for continuous improvement (RCA).

Perform any tasks assigned by superior.

Authorities

Approve OT, leave, PR, recruitment, training applications for subordinates.

Review Quality Policy/Objectives.

Approve Quality Division risk assessment reports.

Approve or hold Production lot shipment.

Position Requirements

Minimum 5–10 years managerial experience in electronics manufacturing (depends on Senior / Deputy role).

Strong experience in QMS implementation, NPQ, and maintaining certifications.

Skilled in audits (1st/2nd/3rd party) and compliance management.

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, IATF16949, RBA, ESD S20.20.

Familiar with RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, UL, and product safety standards.

Proficient in quality tools: 7 QC Tools, 8D, DMAIC, 5 Core Tools, Capability Studies.

Calibration management experience (ISO17025 is an advantage).

Strong leadership, communication, coordination and presentation skills.

Able to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
