Job description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Perform inspection of materials, machined parts, and finished products according to drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.

Conduct precise measurements using inspection and testing equipment such as CMM, Contracer, and Spring Tester, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.

Support process troubleshooting and root cause analysis for non-conformances in collaboration with Quality and Process Engineers.

Ensure timely review and disposition of non-conforming parts in MRB (Q-hold) areas to maintain smooth production flow.

Maintain and calibrate measurement tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly handled and in good condition.

Participate in supplier inspections, including first article, in-process, and final product verification.

Prepare or update work instructions and one-point lessons to enhance consistency and operational efficiency.

Contribute to continuous improvement activities in quality, safety, and cost management.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Minimum SPM or Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in operating precision measuring instruments; experience with CMM or equivalent tools preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of machining and casting processes.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel to supplier sites and to work shifts or overtime when required.
  • Adaptability to a high‑mix, low‑volume production environment.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience conducting supplier audits or quality inspections at vendor premises.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, both written and verbal.
