Job description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Perform inspection of materials, machined parts, and finished products according to drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.
  • Conduct precise measurements using inspection and testing equipment such as CMM, Contracer, and Spring Tester, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Support process troubleshooting and root cause analysis for non-conformances in collaboration with Quality and Process Engineers.
  • Ensure timely review and disposition of non-conforming parts in MRB (Q-hold) areas to maintain smooth production flow.
  • Maintain and calibrate measurement tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly handled and in good condition.
  • Participate in supplier inspections, including first article, in-process, and final product verification.
  • Prepare or update work instructions and one-point lessons to enhance consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities in quality, safety, and cost management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Proficiency in operating precision measuring instruments; experience with CMM or equivalent tools preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of machining and casting processes.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel to supplier sites and to work shifts or overtime when required.
  • Adaptability to a high-mix, low-volume production environment.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience conducting supplier audits or quality inspections at vendor premises.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
