Job summary

A software solutions provider in Cyberjaya is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to design and execute test plans, lead UAT processes, and mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 3–5 years of experience in QA, with strong skills in automated testing tools and methodologies. Job description

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans (functional, regression, performance, and UAT).
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Lead and oversee UAT script preparation, execution, and defect management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are testable and validated.
• Mentor and review the work of junior QA team members.
• Act as the escalation point for complex issues.
• Support documentation and contribute to user training materials.
• Collaborate with the consultant team for UAT execution.
• Collaborate with the system support team for user training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in QA/testing roles.
• Strong experience in test planning, test execution, and defect lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methods.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, etc.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience preparing UAT scripts and managing UAT cycles.
• Agile/Scrum team experience.
